Appt Good and Finishing the Nursery.

We had a great weekend. GREAT weekend. My appt. on Friday went well - absolutely no change - ; ) and Dr. Goolsby informed me that Dax would be here for sure by Aug. 7th. He said that he would not let me go over 41 weeks even if I had to have a 2 day induction or c-section. So now all the anxiousness of going over two - three weeks is gone and Clint and I have been enjoying springing up and taking off to the river, to family's house or wherever on a moments notice or a whim without having to plan ahead. Though every time I call Clint on his cell phone before I get a word in edgewise he asks "Are you in labor!?!" ha ha - so we are getting excited that it won't be long before we get to meet our precious boy!

We spent Saturday fixing up stuff that needed to be finished in the house, such as paint and what not and then put together the bouncer, swing and stroller- and even though I figured out how to put the carrier in the stroller we've yet to put it in the car, so we've still got some stuff to finish up.

I finally finished the nursery!!! - go look at the pictures and get a good laugh. You'll see why.

Sunday we made it up to Clint's Mom's at the river which was a wonderful short trip. Then we made it over to my Paw Paw's house to watch Aunt Sheila and my mom go through stuff and try to figure out who made what (ornaments, potholders and etc.) and who was going to end up with something none of us needed but surely wasn't going to throw away - ha ha! while Uncle Alan was outside with Clint doing the same. We found some really funny stuff like a work bench that someone had given to my grandfather that said "May you live a 100 years and die in a Ford" - okay - that's for sure not what it said but with my bad case of spazzness I can't seem to remember anything. However we all know how my Grandfather hated Chevy's and loved Ford's - ; ). One thing Uncle Alan gave me to take was kind of funny but of course made me tear up is a personalized tag that said - "this old man's last truck." - I'm really gonna miss my paw paw.

Now, here we are on Monday with 10 days left and I have never felt better during the whole 9 months. I could stay pregnant forever if I felt like this the whole 9. ha ha.
