I finally managed to get Dax to his 4 mos. check up. He's in the 50th percentile on his weight, which Dr. Simpson said is good but for some reason a lot less than I had thought. and 26.5 inches which is the 90th percentile still.
He still has a little fluid left over from his ear infection and was hardly bothered at all by his vaccinations, but screamed when Dr. Simpson put that light in his ear. So poor little booger.
He can stay sat up unassisted at times, and leans forward when I touch/grab his hands and say "want to sit up" When I do pull him up to the sitting position he just laughs and then grabs my hand to put it straight in his mouth ha ha.
He's grinning from ear to ear when he wakes up in the morning and just wiggles his ramen noodle frame back and forth. It is the cutest thing.
I'm still in the bad habbit of calling him the brain (due to his big head) but I can't take all the blame. Maw Maw made a comment the other day when speaking of a growth spurt "good, maybe he'll grow to catching up with that head" and Daddy teases that it may be a while before he actually sits up on his own. "it's going to take a while to get the hang of lifting that heavy head" AWE!!! Dax, Mama loves your big head. And always remember... that head was inherited. : )
