We Finally Made It To The New Bass Pro Shop

Man, I love stores, restaurants, etc. that have atmosphere. So it was no surprise that I enjoyed going to the Bass Pro Shop. Not only that, they sold fudge there that tastes better than Gatlinburg and is a heck of a lot cheaper too. Clint loved looking at the boats (big surprise there!!!) and Dax and I loved the Fish tank. I had a few other off the wall reasons why I loved this store but I'll save that for the end.

1. The only place in which the facilities pre-paper toilet covers actually are USABLE. Ladies, you know what I mean. These things are always stuck together and you have to tear that precut slot to cover the toilet seat (that always ends up tearing in the wrong place and therefore becomes useless). They are already torn perfectly no need to fight with it at all.

A Day in Ashville

Mom and Dad went up to their property in Ashville to clean out the brush along the banks of the stream that runs two ways throughout the property. It's such a beautiful piece of land. If I don't have anything going, I'll usually ride up there and help them, but since I had Dax, we just rode up and hung out and Dax had a little picnic in his stroller. While they got back to work I hoped over to downtown Ashville where the Old Big Houses are and the Courthouse. I love this little town. It's so charming! I got good pictures of Dax up until my batteries went dead.

Superbowl

Clint went over to Jacobs on Sunday to cook a Boston Butt (Clint is one of the best cooks EVER when it comes to the grill) in order to have something good to eat while watching the SuperBowl.

I stayed home with "the man" and had fun having Dax and Mama time.

However we did get out to watch some of it and the 3d halftime show that was too short. It took longer to pull apart all the 3d glasses than it did to watch it. Some of the commercials didn't dissapoint.

The E-trade was one of my favorites (when the baby started sing Broken Wings from Mister Mister I had to laugh out loud). Did they have another big song besides that one? Boy wasn't that a blast from the past! The Budweiser Clydesdales are usually my favorites but I've yet to see one that was better than "Snowball Fight" or "We Remember" that have been on in year's past.
