Morgan and I finally got around to letting Dax and Micah finally meet for the 1st time. We probably would have done it sooner, but things just kept coming up. Micah is almost 2 mos. older than Dax. During mid summer when she was here but Dax was still soon to arrive we were sitting around and I was showing Clint a picture of Micah and it suddenly dawned on Clint that "Dax's very 1st friend is going to be a girl!" haha! I guess it also hasn't dawned on Clint that Lizzie Baker and I have already prearranged Dax's marriage to her daughter Sadie. ; ) He hasn't met her yet but it won't be long... will it Lizzie?!
Much to mine and Morgan's dismay Dax slept the whole time (probably because Mama's talking puts him to sleep) and Micah was awake the whole time (because she didn't want to miss anything). When it got time for them to go, I walked Morgan out to the car and left Dax in the house with Clint. When I walked back in, Dax was wide awake. Dax must have been bashful. When I talked to Morgan later she said that Micah fell asleep as soon as they got down the road.
When we got ready to take a picture of them it took a while because Dax was asleep and would not stay sat up but we finally got one. I put the whole picture sequence on this page because it's absolutely too funny and cute when you look at the pictures one after the other.
